The Real Comparison

WHY ASHperformance WINS.

Most players are paying for a few hours a week on the court and calling it "training." Here's what you're actually getting with each option — side by side.

Typical Skills Trainer
$80–$150/session
~$600–$1,200/mo for 2x per week
  • On-court work only — nothing else
  • 2–3 sessions per week, then you're on your own
  • No weight room or athleticism programming
  • No nutrition guidance
  • No recovery or sleep protocols
  • No mindset or mental performance work
  • No basketball IQ or film breakdown
  • No recruitment support
  • Generic drills, not built around your specific game
  • Zero accountability between sessions

FAQ

COMMON QUESTIONS

How does virtual coaching actually work? +
After your intro call, I build you a fully personalized weekly plan covering on-court work, weight room, nutrition, recovery, mindset, and basketball IQ. Everything goes into a Google Drive folder that's yours. You train on your own schedule, check in with me weekly, and I update the plan based on your progress. You always know what to do — and you always have a coach watching your development.
How is this different from YouTube or a generic app? +
YouTube gives you content. This gives you a program built specifically around your position, your weaknesses, your schedule, and your goals. No two athletes get the same plan. And unlike an app, there's an actual coach reviewing your check-ins every week and adjusting the program in real time based on what's working and what isn't.
What if I don't have access to a full gym or court? +
Your program is built around what you actually have access to. During onboarding I ask about your court, weight room, equipment, and training environment. If you have limited access, I design around it — not around an ideal setup that doesn't exist for you. Remote coaching means working with your reality, not assuming everyone has a full facility.
How much time does this take each week? +
That's entirely up to you. The program is built around your schedule and your availability — if you want to train every single day, you get a daily program. If your schedule allows 4 days, it's a 4-day program. During onboarding you tell me how many days you have and what your week looks like, and I build around that. The only limit is what you're willing to put in.
How quickly will I see results? +
Most athletes feel the difference in their training quality and structure within the first two weeks. Visible in-game improvements depend on where you're starting and how consistently you execute the program. I don't promise shortcuts — I build systems that compound over time. Athletes who commit to 90 days and do the work consistently see meaningful, measurable growth.
Can I cancel anytime? +
There's a 2-month minimum to start — that's the window where you actually see results. After that it's month-to-month and you can cancel anytime before your next billing date. No long-term contracts.
Who is this program built for? +
Serious athletes who are willing to do the work. Mostly high school and college players in the off-season, but the program works for any committed player who wants a real system — not just a workout. If you're looking for someone to tell you you're already great, this isn't it. If you want a coach who will push you and build you a real program, apply.
